Quilters Trek (Formerly Row-By-Row Experience)
Our newsletter brings you the latest updates about our Quilter’s Trek kits and more! Click here to sign up.
This year we were asked to design a 9 inch block that can be sewn together as a row or large block. Our block is called Castaway Star (left). By rotating the star units you can make the large block on the right.
We have Quilter’s Trek kits for sale on Etsy.
Our kits feature high-quality Wilmington Prints, and instructions and fabric to make four pieced 9″ square blocks designed by Pam Boatright, our in-house quilt designer. Click here to visit our online store.
Enter to Win!
There are also 2 opportunities for winning a fat quarter bundle!
Just bring in your finished quilt made with patterns from 8 different shops and you can get one of these lovelies (first two people to complete a quilt in each participating shop).
The first 80 kits sold will also have a fun surprise in them! One of these collectible badges featuring the state of Oregon!
There are only four of those golden tokens, so if you are extra lucky you will receive one of those! Just for fun, there’s no extra prizes involved if you get one, it’s just an extra special fun souvenir of the Trek!
For more details and to keep up with updates, see our Quilters Trek page. Check back soon for more information!
We will be providing shop updates here and in our newsletter. Be sure to sign up for the newsletter, if you haven’t already!
If there is anything you need, we are happy to provide curbside service from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Let us know what you need and we can take your payment over the phone, then bring your purchases out to your car to pick up so there is no need to have close contact. We can also ship your purchase to you, if you can’t make it to the shop.
We’ll keep showing you all the new fabrics as they come in on our Facebook page, in our newsletter, and here on the website. The plan is to send out a weekly newsletter to keep you in the loop! As well as encourage you and give you some fun project ideas while we are all staying home!
All classes and gatherings have been postponed for now. We will definitely reschedule as soon as possible!
We are taking many steps to ensure the health and safety of our customers and our staff. We have hand sanitizer available at the front counter, and we are being diligent about sanitizing hard surfaces, door handles, pens for signing receipts, etc.
Thank you for your continued support. This is a great time to hunker down and get some quilting done!
Island Batik Ambassador
We are pleased to have an Island Batik Ambassador for 2020 in the shop! Pam Boatright is very happy to have been chosen to be an Ambassador for Island Batik fabrics this year – you can see her introduction on the Island Batik blog.
Pam has been working here in the shop for 15 years now, and we are excited for her to continue working with beautiful Island Batik fabrics and look forward to seeing her new designs for them!
We will have fabric and patterns for the lovely May Roses Quilt that she is working on in this picture in the shop next week.
